Imagination Station (Volume 10-12) (Adventures In Odyssey Imagination Station (Aio) Series)

As a homeschooler I love using the Imagination Station books as a catalyst to look up the historical figures mentioned. I had my daughter write a review on St Patrick after she read the book, Challenge on the Hill of Fire.

St Patrick was born in 0385. Saint Patrick's father was rich so, Patrick lived the high life for 13 years until pirates invaded, they stole Patrick and his family’s gold. Patrick was a slave for 9 years taking care of sheep. In those 9 years of being a slave he grew closer to God. The chief’s son was sick Patrick heard about it and came to pray for him, Patrick prayed for him and he was healed, but the fake god whisperer was upset at Patrick for bringing his God to the land so he was going to kill him, but God sent Patrick a dream telling him to escape, so Patrick ran through the woods, weaved through rocks, found a boat, and escaped. He came home to his mother and father, they were over joyed at his arrival, later on he became a bishop, and returned to Ireland to spread the good news. Fun fact; The three leafed clover represents the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and that’s one of the ways Patrick taught people about Jesus. The king had a rule that only he could light a fire on Easter, to worship the sun god but Patrick lit a fire for Jesus, the evil whispers tried to put out the fire, but the flames wouldn’t go out.
