Review of Invitation to Biblical Hebrew: A Beginning Grammar
This grammar takes classical approach to teaching Hebrew with heavy emphasis on morphology. It teaches you not only the facts of the Hebrew Grammar but also explaining the why of the grammar. My impression after studying with this grammar is that many exercises encourage you not only to recognize grammatical forms but also reproduce/create them. I would recommend this grammar to those students who would want to develop deep knowledge of morphology and pursue further studies in Hebrew Language and Old Testament.

Thorough yet understandable grammar
Invitation of Biblical Hebrew is a thorough yet understandable grammar. The grammar covers the basic concepts of the Biblical Hebrew language in a clear way that is useful for learners of the language. The explanation of the verbal system is quite thorough and up to date with modern scholarly approaches to the verbs.
