Jesus and the Children (Lost Sheep Series)

The story is written by an Aussie. The pictures are very simple but very bright and colourful. There are a couple of sentences for each double page, so is great for 2-4yr olds through to adults! The story is subtly linked to the bible talking about how Jesus wants the children to come to Him and His Kingdom is for the children. This books is part of a series from the people at Lost Sheep. These books really capture kids and became a family favourite!

This book was yet another reminder of how much I love the simplicity of God's message. We as adults make it so much more complicated than it needs to be when the truth is, like this book says over and over, God's kingdom is for the kids! Jesus wants kids to come to him, and this book will remind them time and time again how loved and wanted they truly are. With the bright, colourful and comical illustrations that are trademark of the Lost Sheep Series, this book once again captured my child's attention, and mine!

Another favourite of my children, Jesus and the Children gives the simple yet profound story of how Jesus wants the children to come to Him. This has especially been appreciated by my children since two of them were born again and know how much Jesus loves them and wants to talk to them and show them more of His Kingdom. \\r\\nThis book would also make a good gift for children from unbelieving homes, as it is so inviting and vibrant.
