In this book children will learn that Jesus is God's special King. He is the King forever and ever and he loves me. Jesus died on the cross, but he didn't stay dead. God made him alive again. I can be friends with God because of Jesus.

***About the 'Books for Little Ones' series***
The first three or four years of a child's life are a wonderful time. Children are discovering so much about themselves and about their world. It is a delight—and often lots of fun—to watch the changes taking place in front of our eyes.

Helping a child learn about God during these formative years is both a great privilege and a unique challenge.

'Books for Little Ones' is a series of simple books written specifically for this age group (1-4 year olds). Along with beautiful photos, each book provides age-appropriate teaching about God and us, in a way that encourages your child to take the first steps of faith—first steps on what will be, God willing, a lifetime journey of growing in the knowledge and love of God.

Author, Stephanie Carmichael, also provides extensive tips and ideas for parents.

Beautiful book
This is a fantastic little book. It tells who Jesus is, the Kind, and what He came for. It (briefly) tells His death and resurrection, and that we can be friends with God. It explains the Gospel in a way a toddler or young child can understand. It has colourful and engaging photographs on each page. Wish it was a board book though.

Lovely book for younger children
This book is part of a series. \\r\\nThe book is filled with lovely photographs to illustrate the one-two lines of accompanying text. The book has a lovely page with ideas for parents (for both younger babies and older preschool children) as well as links to relevant bible passages. This book talks about Jesus being King, but not like other kings that live in castles.
