This is my favourite journal for several reasons. Firstly, I love how it has been written in a 'first person' style, so it feels like an intimate and loving conversation from Jesus, as if the words were intended especially for the time and season that I am journeying through. Secondly, this is also the only version of the Jesus Calling editions which has the Scripture verses completely written out for each day. The other versions of the same journal have just got the Scripture verse as a reference. I find it a very helpful feature to be able to read the Bible verses seamlessly, straight after the devotional thought for the day. I have given this as a gift several times, and would highly recommend this to anyone, whether they were a Christian, or someone searching to know God, or know about Him more.
