    5 star movie

Extremely well made movie based on the Jesus Revolution among the hippie movement of the early 1970's. I found the movie to be well written and characters are extremely engaging.

    Fantastic movie

I loved this movie - I laughed, I cried, I was challenged, I was encouraged. It's a high quality movie with great acting. Perhaps the most difficult part of the movie is also the best . . . it shows that Jesus can move, in spite of Christian's failures.

    Based on a True Story!

Wow this a different type of movie that I am used to. The guy that plays Jesus from the Chosen is one of the main characters in this movie and he doesn't have a Hebrew accent! It's set in the Hippie days and it's awesome to see that Jesus was a big deal back then, if only he was today seen in that way too but in a sense that he saves and can deliver you out of your darkness in your life. You can see in the movie the wrong things that people turned to and it only left them empty and lost it was not fulfilling like what Jesus was offering them but some of the people were so blind to see the truth just like today. \\n

    Fascinatingly true

This was an interesting film. Not a documentary, but more a re-enactment of the Jesus Movement, a revival amongst the hippie culture of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The acting and technical quality were good, and since it was biographical of the life of Greg Laurie, who was involved in the production, it was obviously fairly close to what actually happened. Great to see God moving - changing lives, both young and old, and transforming cultures. Gives you a hunger to see it happen again. Worth watching.
