Good writing style, but be sure to read discerningly
First book I've read from this Author. The book itself is a good read on lies from the devil, the flesh and the world. I was concerned with regards to quite a few of his quotes from various names who are notably very questionable. We are warned to be discerning, and after researching more on this fellow, nowadays, he apparently sees himself as more of a ""Mystic"". I liked the writing style and appreciate what he was trying to say. I just felt it wasn't inline with my own beliefs is all.

excellent book about Spiritual formation/disciplines
John Mark Comer writes with verve and clarity as he tackles our saboteurs: the world the flesh and the devil, while he offers a wonderful blueprint for developing person and communal holiness in a hedonistic world. And Comer loves Melbourne too, what's not to like?
