    Okay for avid fans

I didn't take to this album or love it as much as I love other Colin's albums. While the topics addressed by the songs are truths that won't change, something about the 'silliness' of the wording, jokes and banter just didn't sit right for me or the children I teach. \\r\\nStill, not a bad addition to your collection of children's music.

    Biblical truth in song

We're avid fans of Colin in our house, having nearly all his albums and regularly attending Colin Concerts. We have also enjoyed Karen on TV. However my children haven't warmed to this album instantaneously as they have with others in the past. Regardless, in trusted Colin style, the songs highlight Biblical truths in musical form that will stick in the hearts and minds of children. It will continue to maintain some 'airplay' within our home.

    A little disappointed

I can't put my finger on exactly why we haven't really enjoyed this album. We bought it with high expectations because we loved Karen on PlaySchool and we love Colin, but we were disappointed. My older children (11 and 9) say the album is not as exciting as Colin's other albums, while my youngest (6) just asks if we can listen to something else when I put it on in the car. I love the theme of the album and the way Colin and Karen express God's truth through their words, but this CD just didn't hit the mark for us. \\r\\n

some catchy tunes but not a favourite

Kids love that it is Karen from playschool but the target age (?) seems too young to understand the songs. The younger chidren enjoyed Colin and Karen's jokes, music style but couldn't understand the lyrics, eg it was difficult to explain why Jesus is antidote for Cool and then the older children who understand concepts felt too old for that style of musicjokes\\r\\nIt's always good to learn actual bible verses from music and songs so some good songs there but overall this is not yet a family favourite.
