Good Nativity story for Preschoolers
Nice paperback book that introduces to preschoolers who Jesus is and what happened at the very first Christmas. Very simple, yet colourful, illustrations cover all of the pages and few sentences of text are interspersed on each page. For the price a good book.

A nice Christmas gift
This is a lovely version of the story of Christmas, told in a simple way with beautiful pictures. For only 5. 99 it would make a lovely gift for preschool children.

Comprehensive Christmas Story
I have chosen this out of a plethora of children's Christmas stories as a gift for our Playtime children because of it's great hard-back format, lovely illustrations, nice price and the fact that it includes much of the details of the biblical narrative of Jesus' birth. There is quite a bit of text on each page, so it would suit 2-5 year olds, but the details are accurate and presented well. The book includes the angel appearing to Mary, Mary's visit to Elizabeth, the angel appearing to Joseph, the journey to Bethlehem, angels appear to shepherds their visit to Jesus, and the wise clever men visit Jesus via Herod's palace. The only faults I find in this book is its blunt language about Herod's plan: """"He wanted to kill the little baby"""" (which may not be suitable for many younger readers) and also its quick finish - it would be lovely if it could have included a page about the implications of Jesus' birth for children today. A lovely Christmas book.
