M is for Mama

Honestly I re-read this book every single year. Not only that, but I refer to certain chapters in it on the reg. Why? Because it is so Biblically strong, yet so practical and encouraging in how to raise our kid's firmly planted in the Word of God. It's funny and uplifting, while being so practical, right down to recommendations for shows and books, all while continually referencing scripture and reminding us to not grow weary in doing good. Honestly I have gifted it to probably 10 mum friends, and every single one is so thankful as they find it just as great a resource as I have.

Abbie Halberstadt brings challenge and depth to our parenting journeys with proven techniques and a push to bring the Bible back into the centre of our homes. The book is easy to read, but if the lessons contained are absorbed into our minds they will become greenhouses where God will breathe on ideas.

This book is so well written, the style is very conversational and easy to read, but full of so many great truths!! The book is well presented, with a nice feel hardcover, pretty artwork inside. The ideas presented, especially her motto of hard is not bad can be a real game changer, and it is a great encouragement to get more into Gods word, even in the busy! We can't do it all, but let's make sure we are doing things that matter eternally - with our time, resources, relationships! Would recommend for any mum who is wanting to glorify God more in her mothering.
