In this typically clear and warmhearted book, John Chapman shows that if we are to trust in Jesus we must also trust in Jesus' own view of God's word. He also explains how to read and explore the Bible to get the most from it.

This book should have been a blog

This book has 66 pages counting the appendix. Six pages of great content - 60 pages of 'filler' content. This book seems to be written for non-believers, but why would a non believer buy a book with this title?\\r\\nThe best parts of this book could have fitted into two chapters. There was not enough new content from Chapman. There was too many really long Bible quotes included in this book. Anyone buying a book on how to read the Bible is more than likely to have their own Bible, it seems pointless to include long quotes from the Bible. \\r\\nThe best part of the book, were the six pages in Chapter 6. \\r\\nThe two appendices totalling 10 pages of the book 15% of the book, were previously published in """"A Fresh Start"""" also written by John Chapman. A felt 'short changed' by this book.
