**Making your marriage the best it can be.**
It seems rather obvious to look to our Maker for marriage instructions. After all, God invented marriage. Yet by nature we prefer to work it out for ourselves, starting with our own needs, hopes and desires.
This book turns our thinking upside down. The author examines the Bible's teaching on marriage, while remaining firmly earthed in the twenty-first-century world where messing up, heartbreak, divorce and sexual chaos are distressingly common. Starting with God's grace applied to our pain and failure, the author centres on God's plan for sex and marriage, one of service.
*'Refreshing, rigorous and readable. This book acts as a corrective to exaggerated claims and self-indulgent attitudes concerning wedlock endemic in our culture and becomes a call to joyful biblical simplicity and true God-centred liberty in marriage.'* John Benton (Pastor, Chertsey Street Baptist Church, Guildford and Editor, Evangelicals Now) and Ann Benton (Chairman, London Women's Convention)
*'An excellent, challenging and helpful book.'* Martin and Elizabeth Goldsmith, Conference Speakers, and Associate Lecturers, All Nations Christian College ***Publisher.***

Excellent book on Marriage - highly recommended
This is an excellent book for Christians on Marriage. I would highly recommend it. It is very """"Bible based"""" and I mean that in a good way :) as it also focuses well on God's grace. \\r\\n\\r\\nSo many books, even Christian ones, seem to focus on """"romance"""" and on """"being in love"""" - and whilst these are marvellous gifts from God - I believe the Author correctly emphasises the Faithfulness that is the basis of Marriage. \\r\\n\\r\\nWell worth a read for those thinking about Marriage as well as those who have been married for any amount of time (we are 29 years this year). \\r\\n\\r\\nI've read dozens of Marriage books over the past 30 years, and I would say this is currently the best out there that I have read, and will be recommending it and using it as a Pastor :)

A must read
This is essential reading for those married or engaged Christians. My husband and I were given the book as a gift and read through it together. It offers a biblical theology on marriage as God intended. It encourages us to build a strong foundation on God in our marriage. I highly recommend it as a gift for newly married couples

The Right Tool
This book was reccomended for me and my fiance and what a great reccomendation it was. The author succinctly and very clearly brings out the purpose of marriage and the way God intended marriage to be. \\r\\n\\r\\nWe have found parts of the book confronting as it calls for confession of sin and open and honest dialoge between both husbands and wives, and engaged couples. \\r\\n\\r\\nBut the book is also designed for single people in either understanding why they may wish to be married or why they may wish to be single. I think that for singles it is also an invaluable resource. \\r\\n\\r\\nIf you are engaged then this is the right tool for you! A book that values God's word and cleary brings it to bear on this topic which is so important in all of our lives. \\r\\n\\r\\nIf you are married i am sure it is also helpful, but i haven't got the experience to say yet.
