Ministry Years Volume 1 New Edition

This particular CD was my first taste of Keith Green, and it took me a little while to get used to it, but when I did his message hit hard. My favourite songs on this volume are """"Song to My Parents"""" and """"He'll Take Care of The Rest"""". I'm not sure about the new edition of this CD, but the 1999 pressing of this volume included an edition of """"No Compromise"""" which is the story of Keith Green's life. On that PDF on the 1999 disc, it included recollections of Keith Green's meetings with Bob Dylan, unlike the legacy edition of that book which took them out.

This is one of the rare cd's I've listened to that sounded excellent to me on the very first listen. I liked this cd straight away, and now I love it. Truly Keith Green was a brilliantly talented individual. If you play piano, you will especially appreciate this work. His voice is also just amazing. I cannot fault this cd in any way. Keith Green is easily one of the best Christian recording artists I've ever heard. Yes, it's very 1978 or early 80's, but I grew up in that era, so it sounds fine to me. I'd call it a rare find and would certainly recommend it without a second thought!
