My Mini Bible Sticker Book: Christmas

This is such a great cheap stocking stuffer. Or an ideal gift if you need to buy one for every child in your Scripture or Sunday School Class. I love to have a little something like this tucked away in my handbag to keep small ones busy during Church Services or the many concerts, assemblies and events that happen during the festive season. This is a small paper-back sticker book which is good for a Christmas give-away or in-church kids activity in Christmas services. The story is told in fairly small text on the top third of the page. It is the story of the birth of Jesus and shepherd's visit, told from the perspective of the Inn Keeper. It has a few extra 'creative' details that the story teller has decided to add to bring the story to life, but they don't take away from the story. The story speaks of Jesus as the King of Kings and Saviour of the World - I think it's really important that these touches are added to explain what is so significant about Jesus' birth. This is best-suited to primary school aged children (age 5 plus) as there is not much guidance about where the stickers go (just an 'answer page' at the back, and very small page number indicators next to each sticker).

This book is approximately 10. 5cm (w) x 15cm (h). It has seven double page stories within it. They are titled: The Roman census, Shepherds on the hillside, A stable in Bethlehem, No room at the inn, The baby in the manger, News of angles!, The very first Christmas. Each story page includes the summary of the story told in the bible taking up about one third of the page with the image taking up two thirds. The sticker page has a small number beneath each sticker indicating which page it should be stuck, Preschoolers would need adult help with this. There are at least 2 stickers for each story. The final page includes a small image of what the finished pages should look like with their stickers. \\r\\nI purchased 1 as a trial to possible give to preschoolers at our church playgroup, I am happy with my purchase and believe this book is good value for money at 2 dollars.
