NKJV Thinline Bible Giant Print Brown Indexed (Red Letter Edition)$99.99
This Bible invigorated my interest in reading the Bible. I cannot wait to come home from work and open it and read it!\\n\\nThe most important aspect is font size 12 (called giant print). I don't need reading glasses to read it (btw, I looked at super giant version that has font size 16 or even larger and I did not like it - first, it looked too large and second, the font was only elongated vertically so the proportions looked unnatural and not pleasing to my eyes). \\n\\nI also find the thumb index extremely helpful as I am still learning the order of books. I love that covers bend so I can easily hold the Bible in my lap (hardcover only works for me if the Bible is on the desk). The Bible opens flat and that is a bonus too. One thing that I also wanted was NO references and other non-original text that clutters the read and increases the number of pages (and weight). The format is a bit larger though, but I am already so used to it, it is not an issue at all. \\n\\nOther important aspect was that the text is NOT separated by verses. I prefer when few verses form a paragraph and new paragraphs only start naturally when warranted. Of course, verse numbering is still there. For some reason, I could not find KJV Bible (of Thinline series) that is laid out like this Bible - all KJV's seem to have text laid out so each verse starts in new line. \\n\\nAll in all, excellent Bible. I went to Koorong store to research all the different versions first: text size, thumb-index or not,…
