beautifully written resource
A valuable resource. Very well written and in simple language. Have used this to enhance Bible readings to my children as it presents relevant information to enhance the clarity of Biblical stories. \\r\\nIt still provides deeper clarity without the use of harder to understand academic and theological language. \\r\\nRecommend this to students starting their Biblical studies as well as those wishing for an easy to understand commentary to the Bible. \\r\\nExcellent resource!

This has to be one of my favourite commentaries. Being only a two volume set shouldn't put you off because the wealth of information it contains more than compensates. When I'm trying to get my head around a passage this is usually the first place I go before launching into more lengthy commentaries. It's succinct enough for everyone to use but technical enough to be a valuable resource for students, pastors, and teachers.
