On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness (#01 in The Wingfeather Saga Series)$29.99
I was excited to get my hands on this book, having heard lots about it from book review and homeschool sites, and being a big fan of Andrew Peterson's music. \\nHis debut novel is an engaging read that sets the scene for this action packed and heart felt series - make sure you read all 4 books! Lots of fun, imaginary creatures and lands, in the style of a modern Lewis or Tolkien. Some chapters feel a little slow, but quickly pick up as the story gets going. \\nThis hardback edition is lovely to read from - beautiful illustrations and quality publishing. Perfect for gift giving. \\nVery appropriate for pre-teens onward to read alone, or for 7+ as a read aloud together. Parents will likely enjoy reading it alongside their children and this opens up space for great discussions!

Epic adventure
On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness is the first book in the Wingfeather Saga. A string of strange events lead to the Wingfeather children running for their lives. Will they survive the dangers that lie ahead of them? I couldn't stop turning the pages of this book. I have read it four time, but it never gets old. Great book to read aloud as a family. You can't miss the Wingfeather's epic adventure.

Great series
The first book in the Wingfeather Saga. This is a great series for both children or teenagers and adults who enjoy the fantasy genre. I loved this story and also appreciated Andrew Peterson's ability to convey truth throughout the story. I love how the characters are honest and relatable.
