"With all the Hebrew grammars out there this one is still the essential. Not only is it a fine teaching tool, it is the best reference grammar for both the student and minister who employs Hebrew studies in his biblical considerations."--Randall Pannell, Regent University

Review of Practical Grammar For Classical Hebrew by Weingreen

This is an old but still useful Hebrew grammar for beginners. The grammar explanations and practical exercises are generally good, however, it should probably be updated. The author provides the essentials of Hebrew language without overwhelming the student. This is a concise grammar which includes everything one needs: grammar explanations, vocabulary and reading/translation exercises. Over the years I went through a few Hebrew Grammars and I would suggest that if someone is starting learning the language it would probably better to use more up to date grammar. Nevertheless consulting this grammar would bring many valuable benefits.
