Arrived in a timely fashion, and with no obvious printing or typographical errors. The paper is of a decent qaulity, and the binding is hardy. This book is desinged to be taken with you through life's journeys.
On the inside things are fine. While less hardline in character than either the original or An Australian Prayer Book (AAPB, affectionatly known as the ""Green Book""), this is much more genuinely Australian, rather than just a re-hash of an English book.
Some of the prayers and services are absolutely sublime. The service for the funeral of a young child is a particular standout in terms of both pastoral and theological depth.
My primary criticism is that, by attempting to be more Australian, there are a few moments where this has gone too far, especially in the embrace of Indigenous Australian terms for religious ideas that have been used with minimal ""fencing"". However, this may be a me thing more than a them thing.
Even for those who are not Anlgican, much benefit could be found in this book.
