This commentary is absolute gold, Ryan O'Dowd writes beautifully with a depth of knowledge of the OT wisdom literature and such keen insight for its significance for us today. The Story of God Bible Commentary series has such a great structure, that moves the reader from Listening to the story - Explaining the story - Living the story. I find commentaries that often do this lack in content and in their application but Ryan fluidly moves between the three challenging the reader to not just understand the text but to be changed by it.
