Psalms 1-50 (Concordia Commentary Series)

The Concordia Commentary series is designed to enable pastors, professors, and teachers of the Word to proclaim the Gospel with greater insight, clarity, and faithfulness to the divine intent of the biblical text. Each volume provides and original translation and meticulous grammatical analysis of the Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek text. The author offers and exposition on the text's meaning within its original historical context, highlights from its reception history, and a fresh theological interpretation that is relevant today. In this volume, Dr. Timothy Saleska addresses the first 50 psalms in the book of Psalms, including Psalm 23 (The Lord is My Shepherd) and Psalm 27 (The Lord Is My Light and My Salvation).Read less
