With outstanding, action-filled artwork, this appealing book features 106 Bible stories based on the NIrV, "The NIV for Kids!" It is ideal for independent young readers or for reading aloud to your little ones. 448 pages - fantastic value. Ages 4-8.

Parents and kids alike are instantly drawn to the Read With Me Bible for its outstanding, action-filled artwork by Dennis Jones. Mom and Dad love the way their kids respond to the bold, humorous depictions of Bible characters, and easy-to-understand stories.

And now this beloved Bible storybook for 4-to-8-year-olds is updated, with even more artwork, a new typeface, and a fresh, eye-catching cover. Like the original, the new version features separate Old Testament and New Testament sections and contains 106 Bible stories based on the New International Reader's Version (NIrV - "The NIV for Kids!").

Reading to young children helps foster strong emotional bonds. Spending time together discussing the stories and interacting with the pictures also helps kids internalize the Word of God. Younger children will enjoy studying the pictures and watching the words as parents read them; early readers may want to read the stories on their own. Ages 4-8.

My favourite children's bible
This is my favourite children's bible. When I was younger I was given this bible and my daughter has just been given one too. It has great engaging pictures and it tells the bible stories in a clear way for children. I would definitely recommend this book.

Excellent
There are a stack of children's story Bibles out there, but this is one of the best I've come across for 3-6 year olds. The text is based on the New International Reader's Version, and this seems to result in it including more details than your typical children's Bible. It also contains more of the less-told stories (such as the Bronze Snake from Numbers, and a few Psalms and even part of Ecclesiastes). The stories vary quite a bit in length, but all of them are wonderfully illustrated by the talented Dennis Jones who has a fun, cartooning style.

Great for Sunday school
I love Dennis Jones illustrations, they are bright, eye catching and bring a smile to the face. I use this book and the toddlers book for my Preschool Sunday school lessons - a 4 y. o. boy in my class loves to look at the book during craft time.
