    Singleness

The book takes a biblical theological approach to the unfolding historical nature of singleness from OT to NT. The author first gives a rationale why singleness was rare in the OC although not completely absent. Then as he moves into the NC he treats Jesus' words in the gospels and then Paul's teaching in the epistles. I found his observations and analysis compelling and winsome. Those who find themselves in this station of life can gain encouragement and purpose in the redeeming value of singleness.
