    A sweet easy read

Although Sea Rose Lane is the second book the Hope Harbor series, it can also be read as a stand-alone. I enjoyed catching up with the characters from the first book and seeing how they were faring. The main characters this time are Eric, a high-powered attorney facing retrenchment, and B. J. an architect. Both find themselves in the small sea-side town of Hope Harbor, looking for a fresh start. And what they find, slowly, gently and hesitantly, is love, first from God and then from each other. I found the story to be well written, easy to read, and inspirational, with a refreshing reality to the characters, their challenges, and god's solutions. I think you'd enjoy it too. \\r\\n

    Great Book

I love Irene Hannon's suspense novels so I was very interested to read some of her other works. This book did not disappoint. Irene Hannon is a great author in different genres. Looking forward to reading more of her books in the future.

    Refreshing

It has been a while since I picked up an Irene Hannon book. Being so used to reading her suspense novels, I was unsure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Such a refreshing read. After a while, romance adventures all seem the same. So, what makes a good story stand out? It's the nitty gritty details, the defining moments each of the characters go through; the personal yet relatable circumstances. Loss, betrayal, love, acceptance, hope. These are more than words. They're loaded with such emotion and vigour. Expect this when you entrust the next 24hours of reading to Hannon.

    Great read

Reading this makes you question your priorities and what's important. Also that when one door closes another opens and we should trust in God completely. Great read.

    Fabulous

This is another book to go in my """"favorites"""" list. A lot of modern fiction is full of sadness and struggle and leaves me depressed. But the sad aspects of this book are painted with such hope, the reader is uplifted. The characters are human but winsome, the plot keeps moving and all in all it is a lovely read. It is a delight to have the main characters being """"others-focused"""" rather than self absorbed. \\r\\n\\r\\nThanks to Baker Publishing and NetGalley for a free book to review.
