    A beautiful finale

I loved this series and this book was a wonderful conclusion that kept me engaged until the very last page! It told the story of the third sister in this series. I would thoroughly recommend this series and look forward to reading more books by Jody Hedlund as I found her books vey easy & enjoyable to read.

    Moving Story

I was hooked from the first page and found myself completely caught up with what happened to Sophie, Elise and Marianne's youngest sister. After spending 2 years running away from dangerous and terrible conditions in New York, while trying to survive and care for Olivia and Nicholas, Sophie decides to join the orphan train. On arriving in Illinois and being separated from the two children that she loves and has cared for since they were little, Sophie is accepted into a loving home, where she meets Reinhold, a friend from her past. Sophie struggles to let go of the guilt from her mistakes she has made and Reinhold also struggles with hurts and rejection from his past, but is willing to help Sophie get the children back. Their friendship soon turns into an emotional and heart-warming love story. I loved the intensity of this story that kept me interested from the beginning until the end. It is a moving story with characters that will capture your heart. I love Jody's writing, it is inspiring.
