The bible is full of examples of people who trusted God's promises, who had faith in His sovereignty and were devoted to doing good. A huge mistake teachers make is to hold these humans up on a pedestal and encourage the kids to be like Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, etc. Why is this a mistake? It is focussing on humans, not on God! Jack gives great strategies to help show kids Jesus instead of humans, whether teaching from the OT or NT, and the importance that our actions should flow from Him, not to earn His favour. \\r\\nGreat for parents and teachers of little kids, school kids and teenagers.
