A Gripping Account Of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices.**

Mosab Hassan Yousef has had an inside view of the deadly terrorist group Hamas since he was young. The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas and its most popular leader, Mosab assisted his father for years in his political activities while being groomed to assume his legacy, politics, status, and power. But everything changed when Mosab turned away from terror and violence, and embraced instead the teachings of another famous Middle East leader. In *Son of Hamas*, Mosab Yousef - now called "Joseph" - reveals new information about the world's most dangerous terrorist organisation and unveils the truth about his own role, his agonizing separation from family and homeland, the dangerous decision to make his newfound faith public, and his belief that the Christian mandate to "love your enemies" is the only way to peace in the Middle East

    Interesting Perspective

Out of this book comes a perspective not often heard in the Palestine-Israel discussion. The story is not a happy one, however it is informative. I really want to believe the author, and I do like his conclusion, which is basically that the conflict will go on forever unless everyone turns to Christ, however it seems some pieces are missing. This is understandable given the nature of the author's work as a spy and the book is still fascinating. Be warned it is heavy going, but well worth the read.

    INSIGHTFUL.

This book was very insightful. Worth listening to a Christian Palestinian account without a doubt. \\r\\nMy moto is """"read widely, treat lightly"""". As such I came away with a much better understanding of the complexities of the IsraeliPalestinian conflict than any other personal study to date; while intrigued to learn more in the future from other perspectives to limit being led by any authors natural bias.

    Gripping and Intriguing

In current times where the affairs of the Middle Eastern world are becoming more and more serious, understanding among the rest of the world is extremely limited and often contrary to the truth. As one of these people who didn't understand much about what exactly is going on in the Israel-Palestine conflict, this book shed much light on the truth of the situation for me. Given by the son of a top terrorist group's leader, this story is extremely compelling and you will struggle to put it down.

    Riveting

This is a revealing and fascinating story, riveting froms start to finish. It gives a lot of very useful insights into the JewishPalistinian conflict and helps the reader understand some of the harsh conditions people are living under in this situation. I would say a lot of my prejudices were challenged in reading this story and more than a few times I found myself in tears. I positively recommend this book to the reader looking to try and understand the conflict in the Middle East from a Palistinian perspective.
