***About the 'Books for Little Ones' series*** The first three or four years of a child's life are a wonderful time. Children are discovering so much about themselves and about their world. It is a delight—and often lots of fun—to watch the changes taking place in front of our eyes.
Helping a child learn about God during these formative years is both a great privilege and a unique challenge.
'Books for Little Ones' is a series of simple books written specifically for this age group (1-4 year olds). Along with beautiful photos, each book provides age-appropriate teaching about God and us, in a way that encourages your child to take the first steps of faith—first steps on what will be, God willing, a lifetime journey of growing in the knowledge and love of God.
Author, Stephanie Carmichael, also provides extensive tips and ideas for parents.

This is part of a lovely series of children's books. It is a vibrant, small paperback book with lots of photos for the images. Each page has a photo and one or two lines of text. There are a diverse range of people in the photos, from different cultures. Examples of the pages are """"Sometimes I'm not kind. I'm sorry God. Please help me be kind. """" """"Sometimes I disobey. I'm sorry God. Please help me listen and obey. """" It uses a familiar repetitive phrase of """"I'm sorry God. . . """" which I found successful for young children. I also like that is says that God sees me when I'm kind and obey, and he sees me when I'm not kind and don't obey. I can't hide from God. """" This is something that my 3 year old is starting to question - thinking that she can get away with things if no one sees her, so this was a good concept to be able to talk about. Children aged 1- 4 would most benefit from this book, and its a great price for a nice little book. My children respond well to the photos of other children, and it covers some great truths about God and his omnipotence, love and forgiveness.

Good book for toddlers and preschoolers
This book is part of a series. \\r\\nThis book has a lovely photograph on each page accompanied by 1-3 short sentences. The book includes a lovely page with ideas for parents as well as links to relevant bible passages. This book highlights that God loves us, but sometimes what we do makes God sad. It gives examples like if you are unkind, you say sorry and you can ask God for help to be kind.
