We had watched the amazing film (Soul Surfer) before, but my teens' class got to do this book for English and we loved doing it! Such an interesting book. Bethany is such a great role model for people of all ages, but particularly teenagers. I love that she can minister to world by following her passion and something she loves doing. Would make a good gift along with the film.

Amazing!
This was one of my favourite books at around age 10-12. It inspired me and gave me so much hope in God's plan, especially from the perspective of young teenagers who are still learning what it means to put our trust in Him. The writing style is very engaging and the real-life story is gripping and truly beautiful.

fantastic read for young women
I first read this book in my early teens, and I was so inspired by Bethany's story and her unshakable faith. This is definitely a 'must read' young girls from about age 10 and over.

God's plan is sometimes beyond our understanding.
Bethany's story is amazing. If you have not heard of Bethany Hamilton then you've missed out. Soul surfer is a great read. Told from a teenage woman's view it come from a perspective of a chilled teen. I know it probably sounds crazy but my favourite chapter is the one on the shark attack. I would definitely pass it on to a friend.

Inspiring book
Bethany's story is very inspiring. This book is well written and the book is a great read! This book gives you great insight into Bethany's life. I highly recommend this book as an awesome read!
