Great instead of an advent calendar
This would make a great gift instead of an advent calendar. The bible stories start from the beginning at Creation and run through the Old Testament. They all explain why Jesus is coming and help primary school aged kids to prepare for Christmas. We liked the question posed as it made the kids think and respond.

Great lead in to Christmas
We loved using this book in the lead up to Christmas. The pictures are really nicely done and the stories are biblical accurate. The stories go from creation through to Jesus birth, giving a really good lead up to why Jesus needed to come - goes through stories of Abraham, Joseph, Moses, etc. showing our great need for a sacrifice and how God had it planned all along. Would recommend for ages 5 and up as each story is a reasonable length.
