Could not put down until finished

This was the first book I had read by Joel C. Rosenberg but now after reading 6 more of his novels he is my favourite author. . . I rarely allow myself to read however a stint in hospital was the perfect time to relax read or so I thought. . . Warning- if you are looking for a light hearted, shallow book you can breeze through without much thought do not read this. But if you want a book that will challenge you to research what he is referring to (based on true events) for example- how the allies knew about the Jews being exterminated but did nothing for years, then this is the book for you. It's so well written but he doesn't hold any punches back. . . it shows how much Satan hates the Jewish people and can turn the hearts of men against them causing them to commit unspeakable atrocities BUT it also reveals the heart of God, how much He loves each one of us hasn't forgotten anyone, even those that the world has forgotten, hidden away in death camps and shows how His love shines through the darkness. I learnt so much from this book and subsequent looking up things on the internet he referred to as I read it, so it took twice as long to read but I know I will never forget what I learnt. Very well written. I highly recommend this book from late teens onward.
