I love that this book series, ""Tales that Tell the Truth"", always includes a page at the back for further information about the doctrinal themes in the book.
In this case, the further information is ""How do we know about the Christmas Promise?"" It lists the references in Matthew and Luke where the Christmas story is found and references in Genesis, 2 Samuel, Daniel, and Isaiah which tell about God's promised king.
It's so valuable to teach kids how each Bible story fits into God's plan and reveals God's character to us.

A Christmas retelling
I like this simple retelling of the Christmas story, focusing on how Jesus was coming as our King. This book would help preschool aged children understand the story of Christmas.

Brilliant Christmas Book
This book is great. It's not just the standard story of the Christmas events, but explains how Jesus is the fulfilment of Old Testament Promise - in a fun and vibrant way. \\n\\nBeautiful illustrations too!

Simple retelling of Christmas story
A book with modern pictures and easy to understand language. It focuses on God sending a new king to rescue people and be the forever king whilst going through the Christmas story from the angel visiting Mary to the wise men visiting Jesus. Suitable for a wide age range, including toddlers with an average of three sentences to a page.
