This was a strange little story, with too much emphasis on the U. S. pharmaceutical system, and not enough actual story. It felt as though the authors knew their stuff too well and tried to include way too much detail about how prescriptions work and laws governing the sale and release of medicines in The United States. Most of it isn't even essential to the story, which is a sweet Amish romance with the added twist that Holly doesn't seem quite as restricted as your average Amish heroine. I still enjoyed it, finding it a bit more involved than the average Amish romance, and will look out for other books by this family pair.
