    Great story for Christmas

Good pocket-sized introduction to Christmas. The book also covers the Annunciation, Joseph's dream, and their travels to Bethlehem, the shepherds and wise men. Notably there was no mention of Herod. Simple and bright illustrations. Book has a glossary at the end with a few words from the story that may be new to children e. g. Frankincense, myrrh, swaddling. The book finishes with a lovely short prayer.
