Loved this film! Quality actors with Martin Sheen, and keep an eye out for Charlie Sheen! The film is 20+ years old, and originally shown on television, so it seems to be a low budget production. However, none of our family were bothered by this as there was enough humour and interest with the award-winning actors that took centre stage for the few painted backdrops to fade into insignificance. Without giving away the storyline -- we can reiterate our delight and intrigue as the story unfolded and the ending was poignant, indeed -- unforgettable, really. It was a moralistic movie with nothing inappropriate, and so family-friendly. It is equally appropriate to watch during the Christmas or Easter seasons. If you appreciate classics like """"A Wonderful Life"""" then you would enjoy this film.
