Very helpful book with a lot to offer men in marriage. They define great sex as physical, emotional and spiritual. They first explain the medical and practical aspects, including the sexual response and orgasm, and address issues like painful sex and erectile dysfunction. Regarding emotional companionship and closeness, there is encouragement to share the mental load of life together. They address common roadblocks including past trauma and triggers, the myth that men need sex, the impact of pornography, and how to consider lust. All interact with other Christian teaching in this area, and provide a helpful and wise counter balance, encouraging men to be mature. They consider libido differences and which are preferences and which are a problem, including some tough self-analysis questions for husbands. Appendices address honeymoon sex, and questions for spouses to work through together. \\n\\nIt lacks an overall theological framework of married sex, and is a little problem focussed so starts with concerns rather than that sex is a good gift.
