    good treatment

book comes as a soft paperback. since the catechism is divided into 52 Lord's day (Sunday) lessons, with a forward and intro can be easily covered over the span of a year. it's in a style that is devotional/instructional with selected Scripture readings per Lord's day - can be read individually or with the whole family. questions are provided at the end of each Lord's day both to evaluate lesson as well as separate questions for further discussion and study. those familiar with the author would know he ministered in churches that used the catechism in NZ. in my opinion it is the warmest, most pastoral and personal catechism dating all the way back to the 1st generation of the reformation - and the most beloved on the european continent. take a look at the first Q&A and you will be hooked!

    solid

I didn't grow up 'in the church' and as a young new believer, this book guided me through some heavy biblical truths. It is concise enough that you can easily do a question answer each sitting. It was heavy reading for me at the time but it taught me heaps.
