The Kids Praise Album!

Wow! I've been looking for these for my son!\\r\\nWe had Kids Praise albums 1-3 when I was in primary school, and we absolutely loved them. My sister and my cousins and I performed one for a Sunday School class, and my (public!) primary school choir sang """"Arky, Arky"""" in 1982 for the Dale Choral Festival, where I think every choir performed a song taken from these albums. \\r\\nSome parts are very American (enthusiasm laid on with a trowel. . . ), but there is so much fun and scriptural truth in them, that they're still fantastic overall. \\r\\nI still sing songs from these albums myself!

I remember having this album when it first came out on cassette tape. Yes that was a while ago! But even to this day the songs that I listened to then as a small child still pop up in my head from time to time as it was a great way to learn scripture through the songs. The album also has a story line which makes it great for kids to listen to. Songs such as 'Amen Praise the Lord' and '1 John 4:78'and other songs still float around in my mind after all this time. I would highly recommend this album for children to help them learn the Bible and that they too will have these songs in their mind and hearts for years to come.

I first listened to this album as a record 26 years ago and was thrilled to find it again now on CD. Kids will love learning from Psalty and his young friends what praise really is, that it's more than just singing but has to be truly from the heart. After all, 'you can sing songs till you're blue in the face, but if it's not from the heart, it's not praise'. Catchy songs, fun characters and lessons you'll never forget. Kids will love it!
