God-centred and Christ exalting. Must read for growing Christians.
This was a great read. You can immediately tell Tozer is a man who spent much time with God. His chapters on the sufficiency of God and sovereignty of God were particularly helpful. Tozer touches on simple yet often forgotten biblical truths, such as what God's sovereignty actually means for us as we go about life and the peace that comes from recognising God's control. Some of the quotes within the book are from over 100 years ago and written in 18th century English which means unless you're 150 (or familiar with very early modern English) you may have to take you're time with those. Overall, a great book and would recommend for any growing Christian!
