It was hard for Little Acorn to believe he would ever be a big, strong oak tree. Soon Little Acorn grew into Little Oak. But now what was he to do? He couldn't grow oranges like the orange tree or flowers like the rose bush. He just grew and grew until he became Big Oak, and his branches were big and strong - but still he didn't know what he was to do. Then one day Big Oak found that his strong branches were just right for a very special purpose. The Oak Inside the Acorn is the story of the miracle inside each of us. For within every child is the special person God created, just waiting to grow.

Growing Into Gods Purpose For Us

A lovely story of an acorn separated from his mother tree who always told him to be the tree God created him to be. As he is growing taller and stronger, he is left wondering what he is supposed to do, comparing himself to all the plants around him that can bear fruit and flowers, he tries to do the same but with no results. Ultimately, time and seasons reveal a greater purpose and he is able to share that knowledge with the little girl who spent her childhood with him. \\nThe illustrations in this book are as beautiful as the moral in the story. All ages would enjoy this book. It's a lovely way to encourage our children to be the best version of themselves that God created them to be and not feeling less of themselves for what others can do.
