The book includes true stories and experiences of the author from his life as well as examples from his work and ministry in conflict resolution. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe book is well written, clear, well laid out, and thus very readable. It also includes helpful appendixes. One of these is a summary and reference to the entire book. Very helpful. Others include question about litigation, and alternative forms of dispute resolution. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe book is primarily written for Christian relationships, especially because it so heavy reliant on the authority of the Bible. However, many of the principles would be relevant for conflicts with non-Christians. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe book is highly biblical with extended Scriptural quotations and extensive references throughout. The author doesn't just reference the Bible, he includes it, explains it, and applies it. It is excellent writing. He addresses and examines the implications of key biblical texts about dispute resolution in the church and between Christians. Sande places a significant emphasis on the gospel and its ability to change hearts before behaviour is attempted to be changed. \\r\\n\\r\\nThis book would help any and every Christian in their personal relationships, work relationships, and ministry relationships. A must read book on conflict resolution. \\r\\n

I love this book! It is filled with principles for resolving conflict God's way. It shows that conflict provides opportinities - to glorify God, serve others and grow to be like Christ. It is full of tips and stories to help resolve conflicts and as it is firmly based on the gospel, presents a way of living that honours and glorifies God. \\r\\nIt has transformed my life and I have seen these principles in action, bringing reconciliation and healing to relationships.
