    Great gift for teen baptism

I have a copy of this book myself. The translation is great, and the illustrations really enhance the story. So when I needed to get a baptism gift for a teen, I had no hesitation to purchase this. It's high quality, tactile, and was greatly appreciated by the teen.

Stunning version of a well-loved classic

There is such depth in this well-known story of Christian's journey to the Celestial City. It's allegorical, challenging, confronting at times, but also so beautiful and such an incredible reminder that we don't walk this Christian journey alone. I loved this version of it with its stunning full-page pictures, gold title lettering, hard cover, notes/guide at the back and the relating verses at the bottom of each page. It made reading the story an absolute delight. Highly recommend.

    Lovely

I've been looking for a copy of Pilgrim's Progress that's easier for me to understand. The first copy I came across was super old and the wording was hard for me to follow. I like that the text has been updated in this one and it's much easier to understand. I really like that there's footnotes that indicate what scriptures the sentences refer to, so you can look it up in your Bible and see how the story's based on scripture. The colour pictures are beautiful and this hard cover book would make a lovely present from middle primary onwards.

    Beautiful

This is one beautiful book. The cover, the typeface, the illustrations, and the bindings. \\nThe Pilgrim's Progress is the most influential and widely distributed book apart from the Bible. First published in 1678, unfortunately this book has disappeared to modern readers. It's so good that Crossway brings this beautiful edition to the next generation readers. \\nI have read this many years ago, now I'm reading this to my kids before bed time. Because everyone is a pilgrim and we are on our own journey to the Celestial City.
