The Rhyme Bible Storybook

I without hesitation, recommed this kids Bible. \\r\\n\\r\\nThis Bible has lovely illustrations, which inspires children to bring it to you and ask for it to be read and has only a few sentences of the story on each page. The poetic writing is very captivating for children and all the major old Testament stories are told. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe second half shares all the major stories of Jesus' life which clearly reveals why He came. I especially LOVE how they reveal over the final 29 pages very carefully and in simple language how Jesus was arrested and """"hurt"""" and put on a cross to die. Instead of just brushing over this, it answers their questions and gives them a good child-appropriate understanding of why He died and the events that unfolded. It is so well written and thought out, I am very impressed. . the author shares how he rose again, and appeared to """"Jesus' friends"""", ate and talked with them, then how He ascended to heaven and would """"come back again to be with you someday!"""" Then the final pages shares how the Holy Spirit filled Jesus disciples and from that day on they shared the good news and about how He came to give new life to each and everyone! \\r\\n\\r\\nI definitely recommend this Bible for all kids between 3 and 9 years.

This is a delightful children's Bible with 35 stories told in a simple rhyming pattern. Each story is fully illustrated over 6-8 pages, and despite this being quite long, my 18 month old is completely captured by the rhythm of the narrative! That being said, I would recommend this book for 3-6 year olds (and there is a lovely toddler version which would suit a younger audience). This book would be perfect for Sunday School or for Bible Time at home. While telling Bible stories beautifully and succinctly, this Bible story book doesn't share the application for our little ones (as some Bible Story books tend to do), so it does take an extra step from Mum or Dad to explain the significance of the story today because of Jesus.
