A Disappointing Production of a Great Children's Book
I purchased """"The Story of God's Love For You"""" without too much investigation. The book's author is Sally Lloyd-Jones, the author of my children's much loved """"The Jesus Storybook Bible"""". I thought, 'wow' a new book by Sally Lloyd-Jones, this has to be good. \\r\\n\\r\\nWhen I started to read the book, I discovered this book was the """"The Jesus Storybook Bible"""" without the beautiful coloured pictures, quality pages and hardback cover. I was disappointed. The words are the same, but without the coloured pictures it feels like something is missing. \\r\\n\\r\\nThis soft cover version of the book has no colour, no pictures and rough textured pages. This version of the book is lighter than the original publication and easy to take when travelling. On the upside, I can now have my own copy of the book, as my children are starting to read aloud for themselves and I can follow along with my version of the book.
