This well written book from one of my favourite Christian authors for children is a valuable addition to the Christian family library. It's not everyone's cup of tea as the demonically oppressed girl in the story may be disturbing for some readers. My children happily handled the story when I read it aloud to them, but it required some extra guidance to help them through the perplexing and often misunderstood issues of demonic oppression and mental health. In my opinion this is a valuable resource to introduce children to these real life issues. The author's sensitively written, balanced approach leaves no doubts or fears with the reader as the power of Jesus Christ as Victor is clearly presented. After a journey tackling injustice, guilt, fears and revenge the author masterly leads the reader to the ultimate answer: Forgiveness, receiving Jesus and being transformed by His Spirit through faith in Him. The resolution is solid and delivers to the reader a sense of celebration in His Victory. This book may prove to be helpful to troubled children, offering solid hope in Christ. Highly Recommended.
