This book, as the author declares, is a celebration of motherhood. It captures the love a mother feels with the birth of her child. It is filled with illustrations and stories from nature - with many different background colours - as creation too celebrates the birth of this very special child. Whilst it isn't a Christian specific book, it is a beautiful book to gift and read to a child and be kept to one day pass along to your child with the birth of theirs.

Update, The Wonder That is You, has now been published in board book form. But have no fear, it has the lovely pictures that were so enchanting in the first book. \\nThe author recalls """"this is such a special book to me, because it's based on the true story of the day my eldest son was born. It felt as if all creation rejoiced with me!"""" She uses rhyming verse to express the feelings of wonder, awe and blessing a new life brings. \\nThis is still the book that Queen Elizabeth stated was a perfect gift for Archie Harrison's christening. \\nThis updated version contains chunky, child-friendly pages, along with a great padded cover that is easily held and feels good to the touch-additionally it is very durable able to withstand lots of loving.
