"In that chapter," shares Sara, "Jesus is praying for his disciples and refers to them as 'they.' He's praying and saying things like, 'Sanctify them. Make them holy. They are not of the world because I am not of the world' He's really interceding for his disciples. We are disciples of Christ and being disciples is just as important today as it was back then. We're still here for the same purpose on the same mission with the same calling, bringing people to the Lord and spreading the news of the Gospel to people. We really wanted to incorporate that into our mission as a band, saying that anybody who is a believer in Christ is a 'They.' They are a disciple as well so we can stand together in that and really bring people into the 'I AM THEY' family because we are all family in Christ."
The project's first single "Crown Him" is a song of surrender. "Sometimes we lose sight of the eternal purposes our lives carry," shares Jon McConnell, lead vocalist on the song. "We can get so worried about our own agendas and building a kingdom for ourselves that we forget that it's really not about us or our kingdoms at all." Matthew 6:33 says, 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.' Jesus wants us to come to Him before anything; to surrender and make Him king of our lives and He will always have our back. As people hear this song, we pray that they would be reminded that whatever it is we pour our lives into, it is meant to magnify and glorify God and crown Him as king over everything: our struggles, our burdens, our victories - even the songs we sing. May we live daily in His victory and for His glory."

3. 5 stars\\r\\n\\r\\nI enjoyed this CD, the music on this album seems to change from a slight country twang, to a poprock, then slower worship style. \\r\\n\\r\\nIt was poppy and relaxing, however, I felt that it ended somewhat abruptly, which left me wanting more. \\r\\n\\r\\nI would recommend this CD\\r\\n

Beautiful
This is a great pop album with fun, boppy songs and meaningful lyrics. My favourite tracks are 'Scars' and 'No Impossible with You'. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all of the songs though. I love Trial and Triumph, and I highly recommend this album to all lovers of good Christian music!

During this intermitted time, the band has gone quite an evolution with two of its founding members exiting. Bringing in a few fresh faces, the team currently consists of Abbie Parker (vocalsharmonium), Jon McConnell (vocalsguitarkeys), Matt Hein (vocalsguitarmandolin), Justin Shinn (keysbanjo) and Sara Palmer (drums). \\r\\n\\r\\nThe first thing to say about this record is that this is a congregational focused worship album. This means that these are songs are directed to God than songs that speak about him. Thus, all of these songs are glorious candidates for songs to be sung during devotions and church worship. Few are the songs that the church needs to sing; yet one that is quintessential is the ballad """"Scars. """" Too often our sagacity in worship is too superficial. """"Scars"""" is a much needed worship song as it teaches us to even thank God for our hurts: """"So I'm thankful for the scarsCause without them I wouldn't know your heart. """"\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nNever ones to hide behind scaffolds is the duet by bandmates Abbie Parker and Jon McConnell entitled """"Near to Me. """" In the first verse, the band does open surgery to a lonely heart before bringing it under the cross, this by itself is pulverising.
