A wonderful book for married or engaged couples to read. Begins with the (accurate) premise that it is two sinners who are joined together in marriage, and then explores what this means practically for a married couple. Highlights the important of grace, forbearance and suspecting yourself first when conflict and difficulties arise, but also explores when it is appropriate to highlight the sin that the other is blind to, and how to do so lovingly. A great book to help couples navigate through the inevitable difficulties of marriage in a way that honours God.

Food For Any Relationship
This book has the gospel at it's heart, in helping the reader see themselves as they are, a sinner who is saved by grace. The book's focus is first on self and then on others, and discusses how much more undeserving of grace and forgiveness we are in our relationships with God, than our spouse or partner is in our own relationship. It truly puts things in perspective. \\r\\n\\r\\nIn reading this book, I frequently reflected on how thankful I was to be reading it in my engagement period, before embarking on the marriage journey, but also how the content would be so valuable to any person, single or married, as at the crux it is applicable to any relationship, even if all the examples given are in a marriage setting. \\r\\n\\r\\nI cannot recommend this book highly enough, for those dating, engaged, newly married or married for many years. It is a book you can read many times and gain something new every time - always aiding our growth in relationship with the Lord and other people.
