Who? What? Why? How? Easter

This booklet tells the gospel message in a simple way, with beautiful illustrations. Very effective. Each of the characters (the children on the cover) have different personalities, and react to the Easter story at the same time as the reader does, which is quite amusing. I enjoyed reading through this too before giving it to my neighbour's seven or eight-year-old kids. It is recommended for Year 4/5 student and younger.

This book is such good value for the price! It is a nice size and well printed. It starts with the creation of the world, sin and how God sent his son Jesus to earth. \\nThe story covers Jesus life, death and resurrection, including 3 reasons to believe that He truly did come back to life. Ends with John 3v16. \\nThere are four children who keep asking questions of the narrator as the story is being told. At first I found this format a little hard to follow, and some of the questions seemed a little off topic, but once I got the hang of how it worked I really enjoyed this book. \\nFor example: Narrator: He was dead, but then he came back to life. Child 1: So he was a zombie! Narrator: No, zombies are still dead. Jesus was dead but then was alive again. And, actually, zombies are made-up things but Jesus is real. Child 2: Was real? Narrator: No, IS real. . . \\nI think this book works very well as an outreach book for non-christians, and yet still has value for children very used to the Easter story, too. I would recommend it for 4-10 year olds.
