How does faith at work look like in reality? In this follow-up to *Workship 1*, Kara Martin shares more practical wisdom on making a difference in the workplace. Topics range from hospitality and leadership, to ethical issues and workplace conflict, to reflections on unemployment, women and work, and the future of work.

Kara also provides effective ways that churches can adopt to better equip their congregations to "workship," addressing areas like service programmes, workplace visitations, and mentoring. From the church to the local community, *Workship 2* helps bridge the sacred-secular divide and inspires workers to thrive in their working.

2019 Australian Christian Book of the Year Short List

In this fine sequel to her previous book, Kara Martin demolishes the popular heresy that there is a dichotomy between our everyday work and spiritual life. Each chapter provides a biblical and eminently practical response to a challenge common in the workplace. This is followed by lively discussion questions, a relevant prayer and resources for further exploration and application. Bullying and stress are wisely handled and the author deals creatively with unexpected topics. If you think hospitality in the workplace begins and ends with drinks after work, you will be pleasantly surprised. An excellent book for workers and those who pastor them. \\n

    Essential reading!

This book is revolutionary! Biblical context for work, with an Australian context. God should be glorified 247, and that is what this book teaches. It's also a timely reminder that """"work"""" isn't necessarily full-time paid occupation - anyone who is serving others in any way (SAHMSAHD, nurse, teacher, office worker, gardener, volunteer, etc. ) is working, and that working can be used to glorify and worship God. \\r\\n\\r\\nThank you Kara for this book series (love Workship 1 as well)!
